#15. Marcia Wallace
Marcia was a comedian and a voice artist. She is famous for her portrayals of Carol Kester on the 70s sitcom “The Bob Newhart Show” and the voice of Edna Krabappel, elementary school teacher on the animated show “The Simpsons”. Wallace died from sepsis and pneumonia on October 25, 2013, a week before her 71st birthday. Her ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
#14. Michelle Thomas
American actress and comedian Michelle Thomas was best known for her roles on the sitcoms “The Cosby Show” and “Family Matters”. In 1997, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer tumor in her abdomen. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor then in October 19978, she underwent another surgery after a second cancerous growth ruptured. At the age of 29 on December 26, 1998, she died at Manhattan’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Judith was a child actress who became famous in mid to late 80s. She was a child protégé, making appearances for commercials and television shows and later, in the movies such as “Jaws: The Revenge” and became a voice actress for roles in “The Land before Time” and “All Dogs Go to Heaven”. In 1988, her father shot and killed the child star and her mother after physically and mentally abusing them. The father shoot himself after killing the two.
#12. Carl Switzer
Carl was a child actor. He appeared in the mid-30s “Our Gang” series as Alfalfa. The character was one of the series’ most popular and most-loved. Switzer left the series in 1940 and had a hard time finding substantial roles due to typecasting. Growing up, he starred in small parts and B-movies. In 1959, Carl Switzer was fatally shot in a fight about money. He was only 31.
#11. Michael Clarke Duncan
Michael was best known for his breakout role as John Coffey in “The Green Mile”, a role which landed him an Academy Award and a Golden Globe nomination. He also appeared in films like Armageddon, The Scorpion King and Daredevil. He was also a voice artist for the roles of Brother Bear, Kung Fu Panda and Green Lantern. Duncan suffered a heart attack on July 13, 2012. He died on September 3 the same year.
#10. James Avery
James played patriarch Philip Banks in the 90s sitcom, “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. His character became part of the “50s Greatest TV Dads of All Time”. Avery also lend his voice for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series in 1987, as well as Iron Man animated series. He became part of the “That 70s Show”. He died at the age of 68 from complications following his open heart surgery.

Rob starred in the movie “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”. He was set to appear on the follow-up film of the franchise but he was murdered in 2008 after backing up his brother in a brawl. Knox was only 18 years old.

Leonard was known for his portrayal of Mr. Spock on the Star Trek franchise. Not only that, he was also a film director, photographer, author, a singer and songwriter. In 2014, He revealed that he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) from a smoking addiction. Leonard Nimoy died of complications from COPD on February 27, 2015 at the age of 83 at his house in Bel Air. His last twitter post was, “A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP”.

American actor Michael Jeter played in several movies like The Green mile, Zelig, Fisher King and Jurassic Park III. He died at the age of 51 in 2003 from a lethal epileptic seizure.

Thuy was a Vietnamese-born American actress. She was loved by the 90s kids as the first Yellow Ranger of the hit action show “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”. The star died in a car accident on September 3, 2001 at the age of 27.

Earl Hindman was an actor best known for his role in the television sitcom “Home Improvement” which aired from 1991 to 1999. Before that, he played villain roles on the thrillers “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three” and “The Parallax View” during the 70s. Hindman also starred in 459 episodes of “Ryan’s Hope” during 1975 to 1989. The actor became ill in 2003 and died of lung cancer on December 29, 2003.
#4. Chris Penn
Chris Penn is Sean Penn’s brother. He starred in a couple of movies like Footloose, Made in USA, Reservoir Dogs, Leather Jackets, Murder by Numbers and in television shows such as CSI Miami, Will & Grace and Law & Order. Penn was found dead in his Santa Monica condominium on January 2006. His cause of death was “nonspecific cardiomyopathy” (heart disease) with the prescription drug promethazine with codeine. His obesity made his heart enlarged was also a possible contributing condition.

John was an award-winning actor. He was known for his role as White House Chief of Staff Leo McGarry on the drama series, “The West Wing”. He died on December 16, 2005 of myocardial infraction (heart attack), four days before his 59th birthday.

Richard played Vernon Dursley, Harry Potter’s uncle in the Harry Potter films. He was an English actor of stage, film and television and won numerous awards for his performances. He also starred on Superman II, King Ralph, Sleepy Hollow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Hugo and About Time. Griffiths died on March 28, 2013, at the age of 65 due to complications from heart surgery.
